About John von Neumann University

John von Neumann University (JvNU) is a modern, dynamic university located in Kecskemét, Hungary. The university’s history dates back to 1993, and in 2017 it was renamed after the legendary Hungarian-American mathematician, physicist, computer scientist, and polymath John von Neumann.

With nearly 5,000 students and three faculties, JvNU offers programs in both English and Hungarian. The university achieved record enrollment in 2025 with over 1,650 new students admitted, maintaining its highest enrollment level in history.

JvNU is committed to providing innovative education through its Faculty of Horticulture and Rural Development, GAMF Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, and Faculty of Economics and Business.
